Before Sunrise is a romantic drama film with a minimalistic plot with some monologues directed by Richard Linklater, in 1995. It is based on a true story that happened in the life of Richard Linklater once revealed in one of his interview that he once met a woman in 1989 named Amy Lehr Haupt in Philadelphia. Disastrously , she died before he could start film-making. that’s the reason he included the third story in his romance drama films trilogy to her named “before midnight”.
Its Totally heartbreaking, but the film suggest us that talking with some random strangers on the train can do some kind of therapy wonders. Yes you are right in following us with that thought too. We definitely have some percentage of intelligence with our brains.
An American Man named Jesse meets a French woman named Céline , on a train which is a probable situation, but the deep conversation that gets hold between them is a fictionally made scenario, it seems too anticipated part of a romantic movie, like Linklater taken us all in his feelings of the moment, but it was too convincing that we forced to get into the movie deeply that we ignore the fact that it is kind of fanatical thing turned down to a movie.
Céline gets easily impressed by Jesse’s Projections of love ideology and even gets ready to get down with him. Isn’t it a fantasy thing to leave with that special one , a deep wish to leave everything that holds you back and escape into a fairytale world full of romance. Afterall escapism is way too easy , but not a reality or a permanent solution. After All running away from your problems is not a solution it’s a way to avoid it, which is going to make it even more worse. You experience this fantasy if you are the main character of a novel or a movie frantically but you can still experience it in real life, nothing is impossible as people says the word says i am possible itself, so you can definitely add that to your manifestation list .
Céline goes with Jesse , they start their journey with their projections of fantasies and roaming while expressing themselves to each other. They Knew Deep Down that it is there epic goodbye night and They Are not going to meet next time, but still promising each other that we will meet someday. just imagine finding someone as good companion or just a travel partner but only for 14 hours, being highly aware that you are not going to meet that soon and still having that peace. It definitely hits different.
